KMTA Competion Saturday [and Senior Celebration Too]

Saturday’s the day!

We hope you are planning to come out to hear some of KMTA’s new competition tomorrow (March 25, 2017). It is sure to be a very exciting and inspiring day. We’ll be in the Sanctuary at Gateway Fellowship in Poulsbo, with the fabulous Dr. Yelena Balabanova serving as our judge. Here’s the day’s rundown:

9:30: Junior Division – 17 students, including piano and violin, with cash prizes to be had!

11:00: Secondary Division – another 17 students, piano and voice, in the hunt for more cash prizes.

2:30: Senior Division – 6 students, piano and flute, vying for the top prizes of the day.

Dr. Balabanova will also be selecting our Chapter Representatives for the WSMTA State Conference honors recitals from this field of competitors.

4:30: Everyone is especially invited to the Senior Celebration and Awards ceremony, when the newly minted Outstanding Scholar Award recipients and the day’s winners will be officially receiving their prizes.

Stay for refreshments and a bit of dedicated time to recognize our graduating seniors as they prepare to step into the next part of their lives!
