Our teachers offer music lessons all over Kitsap County including Bainbridge
Island, Bremerton, Kingston, Poulsbo, Port Orchard, Silverdale and Seabeck.
Piano, guitar, violin, flute and voice are just a sample of the specialties
taught by our teachers.

We
sponsor group recitals, adjudications and competitions, scholarships,
professional development workshops and more. The Kitsap Music Teachers
Association is associated with
Washington State Music Teachers Association (WSMTA) and
Music Teachers National Association (MTNA).
Our chapter began when a group
of
music teachers in the Bremerton area gathered at Brown's Music store in October
of 1948 to discuss their mutual problems. As a result, they decided to meet
regularly and to present their students in monthly recitals. The following year
they affiliated with Washington State Music Teachers Association.
