Studio Description:

Janice Parker-Peterson is a native-grown pianist, organist, church musician and teacher. She received her advanced training at the University of Washington (BA in Music Education) with further studies in applied music at the University of Puget Sound and Seattle Pacific (Masters in church music and organ).

Music has directed her life in the areas of private teaching, performing, working in church music, collaborating with chamber musicians and accompanying professionals and students on the piano. She has been very active with the Kitsap Music Teachers Association and the American Guild of Organists and continues to do so, although she is mostly retired from teaching at this time.

Poulsbo is home for Janice and her husband, Mark and American fox hound, Baby.
